Caring House is a special place that provides adult cancer patients and accompanying caregivers with a comfortable, supportive, and affordable place to stay during outpatient treatment at the Duke Comprehensive Cancer Center (DCCC). We are located in Durham, NC, and are convenient to Duke and other areas of Durham.

“Caring House is a great place. The facility is beautiful, but it's not just the facility that makes it special. It is also the support of all the staff, volunteers, and residents. At Caring House, you get both a home and a family." –Mary Ellen (Mellen) Shea

Become a “Company of Care”. Caring House would not be possible without the support of many local organizations and corporations that donate funds to sustain our operations. It cost $75.00 to operate each of our guest rooms, but guests are only asked to pay $25.00. We are indebted to our many sponsors that provide care for our guest.
